Julie Wendt, MD, FACAAI, FAAAAI, FACP, DABOM

Julie Wendt, MD, FACAAI, FAAAAI, FACP, DABOM, is a tripled-board-certified allergist and immunologist at Relieve Allergy, Asthma & Hives in Scottsdale, Arizona. 

She and her team service the entire state of Arizona and stay current with the latest advances in immunology treatments. Dr. Wendt takes an integrative approach to caring for patients of all ages in person and virtually via her telemedicine practice. She helps them breathe easier and eliminates the risk of severe allergic reactions.

Dr. Wendt is a native of Chicago. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology honors and biochemistry at the University of Illinois. She received a PhD in immunology and microbiology from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. 

Dr. Wendt received her medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine in Memphis. She completed residency training at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, and an allergy and immunology fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. 

Dr. Wendt has worked in private practice since 2005 and has published extensive research studies. She also received the American Medical Association Physician’s Recognition Award, which is a Patient’s Choice Award, and is classified as one of America’s Top Physicians. Dr. Wendt is a former president of the Arizona Allergy and Asthma Society.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her spouse and seven children. Dr. Wednt loves boating, water skiing, scuba diving, traveling, and fencing. She’s also experienced in grape growing and winemaking. She serves with multiple charities, particularly Global Orphan Project and Family Promise.

Dr. Wendt welcomes new and existing patients to Relieve Allergy, Asthma & Hives and looks forward to reducing bothersome asthma and allergy symptoms.
